We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
The relationship between parents and teachers is vital to support students to grow in faith, enhance wellbeing and improve learning. Authentic partnerships and communication are fostered at St John Bosco College Engadine. We welcome parents to contact the college by phone or email so that we can support their daughters. We invite parents to be part of college events.
Parents are kept informed through information evenings, Compass notices and parent-teacher-student conferences. College news, celebrations and events, and student activities and achievements are shared via the College Newsletter and through social media.
Uniform
By wearing the uniform correctly and neatly, students show pride in their school and its good name. Our uniform has been designed to reflect our College’s symbolic colours of green and white.
It is expected that students will conform with the uniform code as this in itself is an exercise in self-discipline as well as a sign of the faith they proclaim.
