Congratulations to the St John Bosco College Engadine Class of 2025 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results.
The College ranked 116th in the state in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, climbing an impressive 21 places.
This strong performance included 81 Distinguished Achievers, 35 per cent of students achieving an ATAR above 85, and an exceptional 24 HSC Showcase nominations across a range of subjects, highlighting the depth and diversity of student achievement.
St John Bosco Engadine Principal Jenny Fowler congratulated Year 12 on their efforts and achievements.
Mrs Fowler said she was immensely proud of the results achieved by the Class of 2025, acknowledging the dedication of both students and staff.
“I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our students and the unwavering commitment of our teachers, who worked alongside them to support and encourage every student to achieve their goals,” Mrs Fowler said.
She attributed the school’s strong HSC performance to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
“Our success is underpinned by a strong, collaborative teamwork approach between staff and students, where high expectations, mutual respect and support are at the centre of everything we do,” she said.
Reflecting on the graduating cohort, Mrs Fowler said the unity of the Class of 2025 stood out.
“What impressed me most about this cohort was their unity as a truly cohesive group, supporting one another throughout their HSC journey and celebrating each other’s successes,” Mrs Fowler said.
SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM
Sydney Catholic Schools is celebrating an outstanding year of achievement with the Class of 2025 delivering some of the strongest HSC results in the system’s history.
Nearly 4,500 SCS students completed HSC exams this year, collectively achieving 2,875 Distinguished Achievers listings, 43 Top Achievers, 53 All Rounders. Five schools ranked among the top 100 high schools in NSW in The Sydney Morning Herald HSC rankings, with 17 schools in the top 150.
Sydney Catholic Schools again enjoyed incredible success across the Creative and Performing Arts and Vocational Education and Training (VET), with students receiving a record 321 nominations across HSC Showcases, and 1,989 nationally recognised VET Certificate II and III qualifications.
