Congratulations to the St John Bosco College Engadine Class of 2024 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results! 

Our school placed among the top 150 in NSW according to the Sydney Morning Herald, ranking 137th. 

More than a third of our students (34.23%) achieved an ATAR above 85, with 

14.2% of results a Band 6, the highest possible.

 We also recorded 92 Distinguished Achievers and one Top Achiever.

HSC Top Achiever and First in Course recipient Cooper Knowles placed first in the state in Construction from a pool of 3,529 candidates.

Dux Heleena Giorgianni received an ATAR of 98.05.  Alex Bowdler was selected for SHAPE, which showcases the best of HSC Design & Technology major projects. 

Our students received a further 12 HSC showcase nominations across Technology and Applies Studies.

St John Bosco Principal Jennifer Fowler congratulated Year 12 on their efforts and achievements.

She said the college’s success was due to students working towards their personal best and dedicated staff supporting them in their learning.

“Our graduating Year 12 students showed impressive support for each other, ‘TEAM BOSCO’, and a great respect for their teachers throughout their time at the college and particularly in their HSC year,” Mrs Fowler said. 

“Well done to the Class of 2024!”

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM 

Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) has achieved outstanding results in the 2024 HSC with 13 of its 33 secondary schools ranked among the top 150 high schools in NSW.

SCS recorded an impressive 2819 Distinguished Achievers, 42 Top Achievers and 45 All Rounders.

Notably, eight SCS students received HSC First in Course honours.

SCS students also completed 1,921 VET courses, and earned 280 HSC Showcase Nominations across the Creative and Performing Arts, and Technology and Applied Studies.
